Business partner and CEO of Medexs BV involved in the design, building and installation of cleanrooms, operating rooms, CSSDs and hospital pharmacies. After his technical education mechanical engineering at the HU university of applied science in Utrecht and master of Science in Management at Nyenrode University in Breukelen (the Netherlands) he started in 2020 his PhD at the Technical University in Delft. The title of his PhD is: “OR ventilation systems, a view from different perspectives”. Since 2001, Jos Lans has been involved in many new constructed and renovation operating room (OR) projects, especially in the design, supply, installation and qualification of the different in the market available OR ventilation systems (CV, UDAF, TcAF and cDV). His field of activity is not only in the Netherlands but also far beyond, which means that he has gained a lot of knowledge and experience about OR standards and guidelines.
